Privacy notice

Last updated 26 July 2026

This notice explains what happens to personal data when you use this website or send us an enquiry. It is written to describe what this site genuinely does, rather than to cover every possibility.

Who we are

Oprio is a founder-led software and automation studio. For anything relating to your personal data, contact us at hello@oprio.com.

What we collect

  • Enquiry details. When you submit the contact form we receive your name, work email, company, optional website, region, the type of project, your description, any tools you list, your budget range and your timeline.
  • Anything you email us. If you write to us directly we hold that correspondence in our mailbox.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs, including IP address, for security and reliability. We also apply a short-lived rate limit keyed on IP address to prevent abuse of the contact form.

What we do not do

  • We do not set advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
  • We do not sell, rent or share your details with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry.
  • We do not build a profile of you from your browsing.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

We use enquiry details only to respond to you and to scope the work you asked about. The lawful basis is legitimate interest — you contacted a business asking it to reply — and, where you tick the consent box, your consent. If we go on to work together, the basis becomes performance of a contract.

Who processes it for us

Enquiries are delivered through an email or workflow provider and are stored in our mailbox and, if we take the project forward, our project tooling. These providers process the data on our instructions only. We do not transfer your details to anyone else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Where we do work together, we keep the records for as long as the engagement requires plus any period we are legally required to retain them for.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email hello@oprio.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or personalisation. No consent banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to.

Changes

If we change how this site handles data — for example by adding analytics — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
